In this episode, we chat with Madeleine Matthews—a gender and health scientist - who shares her undergrad journey in McMaster and work experiences, which led her to pursue a Maters degree at the Institute of Medical Sciences at the University of Toronto. Originally interested in medicine, Madeleine discovered her passion for sex and gender equity in clinical trials for kids with rare conditions. She is honoured how her research participants trust her with their stories and that she will ethically mobilize this information to make a real difference in the experiences of others like them.
