8. After the Beep | Blue Archive Symphony 2024 Album (Fan-made)

Continuing the theme of "adventure", here is Nor's After the Beep!

0:00 I wanted to convey the feeling of a refreshing, fun, and youthful adventure. The arrangement features bouncy strings, light woodwinds, and pizzicato textures with call and response from various instruments.

0:47 (my favourite part!) Suddenly, everything shifts—the bright atmosphere pulls away to reveal a more uncertain mood. The After the Beep motif continues subtly in the background with the xylophone, with an original, delicate countermelody from the solo flute and solo clarinet dancing around with each other. This section feels like a moment of "self-doubt," and has a constant feeling of building up.

1:12 All the instruments return for a grand finale. The piece modulates to a brand-new key, perhaps symbolising a sense of resolution of inner conflict or personal growth. Finally, the music circles back to the same refreshing, fun, and youthful adventure vibe that began the journey!
