Make your own chopsticks in Narai-juku!　

You can make chopsticks using simple techniques from Kiso Hinoki cypress, a local product. Using a special kit, you will carve and file the cypress into the shape of chopsticks, and then brand them with the Narai-juku stamp. You can also take home the shavings you shaved with a plane. Add them to your room as an air freshener or in the bath to enjoy the scent, or use them as a deodorant to enjoy their soothing effects. Up to four people can participate in the experience together.
