Thank you for stopping by! In this video, I'm working on a 36x36" piece on canvas. In addition to showing my process, I talk about finding your voice/style of painting and also about social media.

My work is inspired by my love for fields of flowers. You'll see me create it from start to finish. There's no music, however, you'll hear me talk through a lot of my process and discuss products/tools that I'm using.

Hello and welcome! I'm Betty Franks and I create my vision of abstract fields of flowers using acrylic paints and pencils (and other mark-making tools). I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and travel a couple of times a year to Preko, Croatia (where my parents live). I started painting in 2012 and focused on abstract art in the summer of 2015.
