In this video, I discussed the Canada Child Benefit . This is a support for families in upbringing their children under 18 years old.
Eligible families are:
Canadian Citizens
Permanent Residents
Temporary residents like the Temporary foreign workers and International students who have resided in Canada for 18 months.
For this year 2023, the maximum monthly child benefit is $619 or a total of $7,400 in a year for those income is $34,000 annually. This amount is calculated according to the family's annual income, the number of children and the ages of the children.
