This Sunday’s readings introduce us to Job, a man crushed by sorrow, and to different people miraculously cured by the Lord. All these individuals, like many of us now, look for hope. We are invited to see in ourselves in these characters and to realise that our only hope, our chance for a turning point in our lives, is to be found in Jesus Christ.
