Right under the local paintshop 'Schrader', in the German city of Einbeck, an ancient basement is situated. In this centuries old storing place, with a beautifully curved ceiling, I build an 'in situ' light sculpture, entirely made of thermoplastic and LED light. From 2017 till 2019 I have spend many working periods in this inspiring place. Dimensions of the sculpture; approx 8 x 2,5 meters.


The sculpture has been made with a common glue gun, using a working method in which I try to replicate a 'natural and organic' layer over layer building process. It refers to structures we find in shells, fungi and deep ocean organisms.
