Rachel Dyer is the Vice President of Analytics at CSG Pro with in-depth expertise of the Microsoft BI stack and dimensional modeling. She has a broad management background and strong communications skills, coupled with considerable technical experience in platform implementation. She is more commonly known as the Queen of DAX or Rachel DAXie Dyer. 

What order does DAX use when you nest more than one CALCULATE function? How does it behave when context transition is also happening at the same time? We’ll look at how this works and give you the logic and some examples.
Variables are so important that they were the driving force behind a new edition of The Definitive Guide to DAX that is in the works. We’ll review the fundamentals of variables and show some common use cases that you are sure to run into.
