The Sulphur is one of the main hatches throughout the Eastern part of the States. Where I grew up in Pennsylvania, it typically occurs in early to mid May. This hatch can be very prolific on certain rivers. The South Holston in Eastern Tennessee has one of the best Sulphur hatches I've ever seen, and it can last for months. Having a few of these in different shades and sizes is a must if you're fishing the eastern part of the country.
