Dave talks about his passion for skateboarding, which began in 1974, and has grown into a lifelong love for the sport. He reflects on the vibrant and tight-knit skateboarding community in Ventura, sharing stories of local skaters he’s watched grow and thrive over the years.

Dave also highlights BlackHole's involvement in the local skate scene, including the success of the Downtown Ventura Skate Jam during the X Games, which brought together both amateurs and professionals for a fun and exciting event.
