Whether in the gym or planning complex operations, Bogdan Anghel – Recycling UBC Manager at CANPACK Recycling in Romania – is always a safe and strong pair of hands. He’s rightly proud of the vital part he plays in the circular economy, overseeing activities as we export used cans to smelters where they are processed back into aluminium sheets, ready to become beautiful CANPACK cans again! And when he’s not working hard for CANPACK and the planet, he’s working hard for charity. Since 2019, Bogdan has been joining CANPACK colleagues volunteering for ‘Fabrica de Daruri’ (Gift Factory), providing vital supplies to schoolchildren from disadvantaged backgrounds who might otherwise struggle to complete their education.
