Hello and welcome to another Unboxing video from BOAB Models. Today I will build the 2001 Subaru Impreza WRC car in 1/24 by Tamiya. This kit is from the Season opening Rallye Monte Carlo in the season where British driver Richard Burns would go on to win the drivers' title in the number 5 Impreza.

Built on a significantly modified version of the first generation platform, the new 2000 Impreza followed much the same formula as its predecessor, including a similarly contoured silhouette. Despite this, the front-end styling—distinguished by ovoid headlamps—attracted significant controversy. This version of the Impreza has gained the nickname 'Bug Eye' among Subaru enthusiasts.
