This is an introduction video Part 1 of 3 explaining why and the reason behind my making a spacer that lengthens the distance from the laser diode to the focusing lens of my Endurance 8 and 10W+ Lasers.
I don’t in any way present this as a definitive answer regarding obtaining a perfect laser focus for cutting and engraving. Instead the videos relate my developments and how I managed to achieve satisfying results based on the equipment I have available and my own personal experience. The dimensions stated may not work for everyone as there are many variables involved however I present this as one concept that may be a starting point for others to expand on for their own needs.
