Join me on a short domestic flight in Iran, traveling from Tehran (In Persian: تهران) to Kish Island (In Persian: جزیره کیش) with Ata Airlines on the classic McDonnell Douglas (Boeing) MD-87 aircraft.

Tehran is a busy capital city with crowded streets and heavy traffic, while Kish feels completely different—calmer, cleaner, more relaxed, and even a little freer. The moment I stepped off the plane, the humid air and palm trees set the mood for this unique island.
