The new adult Avatar movie just got a new announcement and it's very disappointing. During the Paramount Studios’ 2025 CinemaCon panel, the title of the the upcoming Avatar: The Last Airbender animated movie now titled The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender was shown off. Aang: The Last Airbender, the new animated movie by Paramount and Nickelodeon, will mark the first of the three standalone ATLA animated films. Aang: The Last Airbender will be directed by Lauren Montgomery and William Mata, who storyboarded numerous episodes in the original cartoon. The initial voice cast includes Steven Yeun, Dave Bautista, Eric Nam, Dionne Quan, Jessica Matten and Román Zaragoza, with Bautista set to play an unnamed villain.
