Homemade Grape Wine seilam vaanga !!! PART 1

Hello everyone

It’s already Christmas season and a perfect time to make grape wine at home . In this video I shared the recipe of making grape wine at home .

Ingredients:

If in USA - Concord grapes 6 lbs
If in India - Black grapes 3 kg
Active dry yeast - 7 grams
Sugar - 1 3/4 kg
Cinnamon stick - 2”
Cloves - 4
Cardamom - 2
Nutmeg - 1/2
Water - 3 liters ( filtered water or boiled and cooled water )

Preparation:

1. Wash the grapes thoroughly and dry it using a cloth .
2. Discard any grapes which are opened or skin peeled off .
3. Smash the grapes completely in such a way that the skin , flesh and seed are separated.
4. Then pour the mixture into cleaned and sundried
Glass jar .
5. Make sure to choose a glass jar that can fit atleast double the quantity of grapes and water .
6. Add purified water or boiled and cooked water .
7. Then add nutmeg , yeast , cinnamon stick , cardamom , cloves and sugar and mix well .
8. Close the lid and cover it using a dark cloth and let it rest in a dark place .
9. Every alternate day open the jar and mix it well.
10. Continue mixing it every alternate day until 21 days .
