When life turns uncertain—such as after an early Parkinson’s diagnosis—resilience becomes our lifeline. We strengthen it by recognizing the choices still within our control, cultivating realistic optimism, and setting purposeful goals that keep us moving forward. Born in Ireland and based in Germany since her early twenties, Cathy Molohan is a passionate Parkinson’s advocate, speaker, and eternal optimist. Diagnosed with Parkinson’s at age 38, she left her executive role at EnglishBusiness AG to focus on advancing patient-centric care and accelerating the search for a cure. She serves as Head of International Relations at the Yuvedo Foundation, is an observer Board Member of Parkinson’s Europe, and a World Parkinson Congress Ambassador. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
