I was informed by the vendor that the cavity wall ties had been replaced and the work was subject to a long term Guarantee which as expected proved to be worthless as the company ceased trading in their 3rd year of trading. I guess the moral of this post is to point out that we should always rely on our own inspections rather than what we have been told pre-survey.
