Day 4 of our 7-day Mediterranean cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas brings us to one of the most famous destinations in the world — Santorini, Greece.
From tendering into the island and riding the cable car up to Fira, to exploring iconic blue-domed churches, shopping local boutiques, tasting gelato and cactus juice, and learning from an incredibly informative tour guide, this day was packed with unforgettable moments.
Santorini wasn’t exactly what we expected at first — the crowds and heat were intense — but once we slowed down and took in the views of the caldera, everything finally made sense. Even the island’s cats added their own charm along the way.
In this vlog, we share the real experience of visiting Santorini on a cruise, the highs, the challenges, and the moments that made it all worth it.
