How to DRAFT this gathered dress with basque effect.A beginners guide to cutting this dress.

Hello bestie’s,

Welcome! In today’s video, we will be drafting the pattern for this gathered dress with basque effect. This is the first part of two videos. With the help of this tutorial,you will find it easy to draft and cut out this gathered dress with basque effect.

Due to the fåíntness of the chalk from the previous cutting tutorial, i decided to draft this on paper as a compensation.

Like i mentioned in the video, the width of gathers used in the making of this dress is 143 inches and the length is 11.5inches and i cut that out twice. One for the front part of the dress and one for the back part of the dress.

The sleeve cutting will be included in the sewing video which will be uploaded tomorrow.🙏🏾
