Salutations to Hanuman, praised by the gods,
The true Guru of the universe.
O Hanuman, by loving devotion to You,
May a noble human birth be assured.

With a pure mind, constantly worshipped by the wise,
Bathed in sacred waters of pure intellect,
I adore the son of Vayu, lotus-eyed,
The fulfiller of all desired wishes.

Beloved of Lord Rama, enemy of demons,
Destroyer of sins for His devotees,
Lord of the universe, benefactor of Sita,
Mountain-like in strength, I bow to Him with reverence.

Seated beneath the banyan tree,
Adorned with radiant ornaments,
Destroyer of deceit, revered by the virtuous,
I meditate upon that supreme hero, Hanuman.

Established by sages of exalted fame,
Born of Anjana through great austerity,
The eternal giver of welfare to beings,
I praise Hanuman, worthy of divine song.

He who leapt across the ocean in an instant,
Shining like molten gold, fulfilling all aims,
Worshipped even by Indra and the gods—
