You will be able to watch real venom extractions by one of the most prominent snakes handlers in the world. The venoms are used as anti venoms in helping victims who are bitten by dangerous deadly snakes.

Carl Barden and his staff are amazing and talented. You will get to meet them at the Reptile Discovery Center in Deland, Florida north of Orlando.

Enjoy a walk on our beautiful outdoor nature trail where you will see all kinds of reptile species -- lizards, alligators, tortoises and more -- active and sunning in their natural enclosures.

Our indoor exhibits house rattlesnakes, cobras, mambas and many other snakes from all over the world.

The Reptile Discovery Center offers an unforgettable experience, both educational and exciting, allowing the visitor a rare view into the process of venom extraction. Venom programs are given Thursday through Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., and on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.
