The printer is built completely stock following the instructions. It is best to build it completely stock first, get it printing, and then see what changes or upgrades are needed.

PROS + CONS
-Its cheap = low cost parts and a plastic frame
-Be prepared to spend time adjusting, building, troubleshooting and setting up
-Safety upgrades - Mosfet/powersupply + firmware recommended
-Comes with a Euro power cable - I wired in a spare AU cable
-Care needed wiring the power wires to the powersupply.
-Heaps of upgrades available.
-Large community + support with many users for the A8
-Good if you like DIY, building and tinkering, if not best to buy a ready built printer.
-Building you will learn and understand how a 3d printer functions.
-Good quality prints for the price.

For the price, at $208 AUD delivered the printed results were quite impressive and to the same quality of my other printer 3X the retail price.
