This video provides an overview for healthcare providers on serologic testing for Lyme disease. CDC recommends a two-step process using FDA-cleared serologic tests for Lyme disease. Both steps are required and can be done using the same blood sample. The overall result is positive only when both tests are positive (or for some tests equivocal).
