I Threw This $35 Dollar Swimbait All Day... Here's What Happened

I threw the Savage Gear Shine Glide — a $35 glide bait — all day long to see if this flashy swimbait could actually catch bass. It’s big, it’s bold, and honestly, I wasn’t sure if any fish would touch it. But after just a few casts, things got interesting… and I ended up landing 4 bass on it.

This video is all about building confidence in big swimbaits and seeing what happens when you fully commit to throwing just one lure — no backups, no switching, just glide bait fishing from start to finish. I fished from my Old Town Sportsman 106 PDL kayak, using my Humminbird Helix 7 to find key structure and breaklines throughout the day.
