Building a Dream Georgian Bedroom Suite & Restoring the Dower House | My Tiny Estate

We continue our restoration journey in the Dower House – taking on three unfinished spaces to create our long-desired main bedroom suite and bring back some Georgian charm in the process. With all the behind-the-scenes essentials now in place - electric, plumbing, and heated floors - it's time to begin work on some of the details.

In the bathroom, Dean tackles the complex task of preparing an enclosed shower space, ensuring every square inch is watertight. In both the bedroom and bath – we add intricate detailing around the windows to restore historic character to the house. In the space in-between – we begin creating a functional walk-in closet that harbors a secret room. When our buddy Chris drops by to help – we’re grateful for the offer but let’s just say that painting is NOT his strong suit!
