Appian Way Golf Cart Tour with Roman Catacombs Entry The underground of the Baths of Caracalla shown at the beginning of this video is now rarely open.

As of 2024, it sometimes opens at the end of summer after the concerts end. When it does open, it's usually for limited night visits along with the Mithreum, a really excellent visit. I hope you'll enjoy seeing the underground in this video if you can't visit them in person.

You may wish to see the video from 04:51 where we visit the baths above ground.

In 2019, they opened the UNDERGROUND of these baths. They closed in 2020 but have since reopened sporadically.
