DIY Outdoor Kitchen | Blackstone Griddle

After smoking up the house - you know what I mean - we embarked on a quick DIY outdoor kitchen that worked with the new Blackstone griddle.

Framed with treated 2x4's, wrapped in cement board where the grill would be placed, painted black with high temp paint, plywood and cement board for the tiled surface, and wrapped the island with a vertical shiplap. You will need to waterproof the non-treated wood to protect from the elements.

What I would maybe do different would be to wrap in stone or something that is not as affected by the elements - for now it works for us!
