DJ Set | Brazilian Gems and Classics | Record Digging Trip Sāo Paulo to Rio | All Vinyl

Join us on a musical adventure through Brazil in this DJ set made entirely from records found on a week-long road trip from São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro.

Along with my local friends Edu (Dudu) and Victor (O General), we scoured small towns for vinyl gems, jumping through second-hand stores, record shops, private dealers, and even random people we met along the way. Each day, we ended up in a different city, following the music and our instincts.
Their strategy was to find the best of Brazilian records, which are becoming more scarce these days, as well as international music pressed in Brazil, which they could eventually sell outside of Brazil to support the journey.

This is a raw edit of our adventure, not a polished documentary film. You'll see glimpses of the stunning Brazilian countryside, the bustling streets of São Paulo and Rio, and, of course, hear the music we discovered.

The full story and photos taken on this road trip will be featured in the upcoming Volume 2 of the Dust & Grooves book, coming summer of 2024.
