Planet Wax... The Story So Far

This week 1 More Thing heads to New Cross, South London, for a spot of record shopping at one of the freshest and forward-thinking vinyl HQs in the UK right now: Planet Wax.

Founded and run by Dexta and Sicknote, Planet Wax is a safe space for nerds, heads and enthusiasts of all underground genres. A community hub where you can cut dubs, enjoy a cheeky dance and link with like-minded souls just as much as you can scratch that all essential vinyl itch, Planet Wax is exciting proof that the traditional record store still has a vital place and voice in the modern music landscape.

Part of the new generation of Kool FM DJs, and weekly curators of some of London's most interesting and intimate line-ups, Dexta and Sicknote are officially living their childhood dreams. And they're only just getting warmed up.
