Dreamhost Review — Will You Regret Buying it? [2024]

As a user, it's really unclear what you should go for since DreamHost offers a LOT of different web hosting plans, but after testing everything they have — in my opinion, only 2 of them are actually worth your time.

As I've reviewed plenty of web hosting providers in the past, I always tried to place them into categories to make better recommendations. And the category that I think DreamHost is in is — budget hosting.

While writing this Dreamhost review, I've noticed that they don't offer NVMe storage, have no Litespeed servers, and only have US-based servers. Basically, that's A LOT of drawbacks for A LOT of people. But due to their low price (until renewal), it's still a valid choice that I would recommend to small websites.

In essence, DreamHost isn't spectacular, it won't turn any heads but as far as cheap providers go (under $3) they're very close to being the best option out there. Extremely easy to use, the servers aren't outdated (they offer decent loading times) and there's support, domain and every other feature you need for a successful website included.

If you're looking for a good price-to-performance ratio it's definitely either Dreamhost or Hostinger, currently, there are no other better solutions available.
