徳島県立阿波十郎兵衛屋敷の魅力 “Tokushima Prefectural Awa Jurobe Yashiki ”

「阿波人形浄瑠璃」は、徳島県の各地に伝承されている、義太夫節の浄瑠璃と太棹の三味線、3人遣いの人形の三者によって演じられる人形芝居であり、国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定されています。
「徳島県立阿波十郎兵衛屋敷」では、かつて神社の境内によく見られた農村舞台を模した舞台があり、「阿波人形浄瑠璃」を毎日上演するほか、木偶人形や人形浄瑠璃の衣装などの資料を展示しており、「阿波人形浄瑠璃」の特色を学ぶことができる施設となっています。

　Awa Ningyo Joruri is a puppet show consists of three components, dramatic recitation of gidayu-bushi (ballad drama music), musical accompaniment from the futozao-shamisen (thick-necked and three-stringed instrument) and sannin-zukai (three puppeteers). Awa Ningyo Joruri is performed in various places around Tokushima prefecture and is designated as a national important intangible folk-culture asset.

　At“ Tokushima Prefectural Ａwa Jurobe Yashiki”, there is a stage that replicates an open-air farm-village stage, often seen in the precincts of a shrine. Our puppet theater and museum gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the characteristics of Awa Ningyo Joruri. In addition to daily performances of Awa Ningyo Joruri, artifacts such as wooden dolls and costumes are displayed at the museum.
