2013-2017 Subaru Crosstrek LED Upgrade Rear Turn Signal Flashers

This is a lighting upgrade to LEDs from incandescent lighting. This video shows how to replace / upgrade the rear blinker lights on a 2013-2017 Subaru Crosstrek. Below is all the info for the bulbs being replaced. This is something anyone can do to a vehicle.

The connections on the LEDs to sockets are all light coating of Silicone paste on them.

LED Bulbs were purchased from:

Bulbs being upgraded are the front flashers.
These LEDs come in the color Amber.
There are three different brightness levels offered:
HP48 (280 lumens)
HP11 (310 lumens)
XP80 (510 lumens) (2014-2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek)
I installed the 310 Lumen edition. Much brighter than the factory incandescent bulbs.
They are Plug and play. Meaning you do not have to do anything to the sockets or the connectors.
Comes with a 3 year warranty.

Tools required:
Phillips head screwdriver, 10mm socket.
Install time is about 5 - 10 minutes

If you are upgrading to LED blinkers you will need to purchase an LED flasher relay. If you do not replace the relay your blinkers will hyperflash (blink fast). With this relay you WILL NOT have to install resistors.

Adds more unique functions to your turn signal.
Such as:
Programmable functions
Tap Turn. Touch your lever on your steering column get a specific number of flashes from your blinkers. Nice for lane changes.
Multiple Hazard flashing functions
Arrival and Departure modes. You can control how long the flasher LEDs stay lit when activating of disabling your alarm.
This relay can also be used with incandescent bulbs.
You WILL NOT have to install resistors.
3 Year warranty.
