DBKL shuts down three unlicensed hotels run by foreigners

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has shut down three unlicensed hotels operated by foreigners during a recent enforcement operation in the city.

In a statement today, DBKL said officers conducted a week-long inspection at hotspot locations under the KL Strike Force operation, identifying several premises
for action.

Four hotels were found operating without valid business licences, with three ordered to close immediately under the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Hotel Act 2003.
