One of the first film scores I wrote was for a short called "LIFE" by Nick Bolton. It was commissioned by Access Contemporary Music for their Sound of Silent Film Festival.
I loved working on this film and writing something a little out of the box and contemporary sounding, as opposed to a more cinematic style. This film score still is performed live often and will be presented in Holland, Michigan on February 28th.
In this video I go through some of the process of writing the project and showing scenes and audio from the premiere performance at the Music Box Theater in Chicago.
