From officers rescuing patients in a hospital fire - to tackling an armed man even though he'd shot them. Today, the bravery of Metropolitan Police officers was recognised at a ceremony. Among those nominated, was one off-duty officer who tackled a schizophrenic man with a 12 inch knife in a shopping centre. It was captured on camera. He's been talking to our home affairs correspondent Nick Beake.
