Improving The Hitch On The 2284 Super Cub To Easily Be Able To Be Able To Use A 2" Ball

What good is having a SUPER Cub Cadet if you can't flex it's muscle once in a while? We have multiple trailers that need moving around, a pop up camper that occasionally needs moved, and and a few other items from time to time that require a 2 inch ball to hook up to them and tow them. Now over the years and all the tractor shows we've been to we 've seen quite a variety of ways to add or fasten a ball style hitch to lawn & garden tractors and we were looking for something that was versatile. Obviously the quickest solution is just mount the ball in the existing drawbar hole. the problem with is that you often times don't have enough space between the ball and the frame to get the hitch part of whatever you're trying to tow over the ball. And this set up is almost always to low and doesn't allow what is being towed to set anywhere close to level. And the other downside to that set up is then if you want to use a lawn cart, or most regular towable lawn equipment, you have to get tools and remove the ball. Well we saw this ATV hitch adapter on the shelf at Harbor Freight and came up with a better way to get the best and easiest of both worlds. We can now use a regular style ball mount for a vehicle hitch and if we need to remove it we can simply pull a pin and remove it and be ready to tow our lawn cart and other lawn equipment.
