Hey guys, I am clashing 2 1934 Gibson L-5s !!!
I'm playing the standard Oh Look at me now ( composed in 1941 by Joe Bushkin with lyrics by John DeVries ) and switching from one guitar to another.
White T shirt = the gold hardware one with pointed end (with ebony top bridge), strung with D'Addario EJ24 Phosphore bronze 13-56
Black T shirt = the Nickel hardware one (with rosewood top bridge), strung with Earthtone phosphore bronze 13-56
They both sound very different and very cool, please share your thoughts. To me the nickel one is a little mellower, and the gold one is a little more punchy.
The sound is captured by a Ribbon microphone AEA R84A and a Neumann TLM 103.
