Google, renowned for its pioneering workplace designs, has secured an expansive 160,000 square feet of office space across eight floors in Unitech Signature Towers II, Gurgaon. Recognized globally for its meticulous selection of work environments, the tech giant's new space integrates within a world-class corporate office development by Unitech Limited, a prominent real estate player in India.
Designed to foster innovation and a vibrant atmosphere, Google's office spaces are known for their unconventional setups and colorful ambiance, encouraging a culture of creative brainstorming among employees.
The architectural vision for this project was led by Callison, based in Seattle, USA. This modern and technologically advanced commercial office complex stands prominently along the National Highway 8, boasting separate entries for two distinct office blocks yet unified through a single core and lobby. Oriented in a North-South direction, the building maximizes natural daylight while minimizing direct sunlight penetration, promoting a conducive work environment.
Architecturally, the building's design reflects an interlocking composition of two forms, where centrally aligned cores integrate the blocks while creating a visually captivating play of solids and voids. The shingled façade curtain wall system not only adds aesthetic appeal but also efficiently regulates daylight, contributing to the building's pursuit of achieving LEED GOLD certification, a testament to its blend of form and function.
