Sidiki Camara (November 24, 1965, Bamako) is a famous djembefola from Mali . He is better known there as "Fabla". Camara learned to play the djembe from his father.
In Mali Sidiki played with the "Ballet National de Mali", with which he toured the world. Later he settled in Brussels in Belgium and joined Sewa Kan , the backing group of Mamady Keïta . For a number of years he has lived in Oslo in Norway , as a music teacher.
Sidiki is distinguished by his great knowledge of many traditional Manding rhythms and modern rhythms, combined with the ability to play the most complex patterns and variations with apparent effortlessness.
There are a number of groups that Sidiki supports, such as the Sidiki Band in Norway , a jazz group in Brussels and a group in Mali.
