Reading | Walking Tour

A walk around Reading, a town that blends history, shopping, and riverside charm. We start at Reading Station and head into the heart of town, passing through streets like Friar Street and Broad Street, packed with shops along side a day market. Along the way, you’ll see the historic Reading Town Hall and the old Market Place and quirky Smelly Alley. We’ll stop by The Oracle Riverside for some scenic views along the River Kennet, then head towards the peaceful Forbury Gardens to see the Maiwand Lion and the impressive ruins of Reading Abbey, once one of the most important religious sites in England.
