Trump Slams Biden, Zelensky, Putin Over Ukraine War Escalation | India Today Global

In a dramatic series of statements, former U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked global debate by blaming multiple leaders for the ongoing war in Ukraine. Speaking about the recent Russian missile strike on Ukraine’s Sumy region, Trump described the war as “an abuse of power” that should have never started. He squarely pointed fingers at current President Joe Biden, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Russian President Vladimir Putin, saying “everybody's to blame.”

Responding to questions on his remarks, Trump reiterated his view that Biden lacked the competence to prevent the war. He also cast doubt on Zelensky’s leadership, suggesting past interactions had been “rough.” Meanwhile, Russia has defended its attack on Sumy, claiming the target was a joint meeting of Ukrainian military commanders and their Western counterparts, whom it alleged were disguised as mercenaries.

On the diplomatic front, the Kremlin emphasized its willingness to engage in “constructive and meaningful” discussions with the United States, although a concrete peace agreement remains elusive. At the same time, tensions escalated further as Ukraine launched drone strikes on Russia’s Kursk region, killing an elderly woman and injuring several others.

As battlefield realities intensify and rhetoric escalates, the war in Ukraine remains a deeply divisive and destructive global flashpoint.
