Thimble songs are short songs you can easily learn and carry with you. Like a lucky stone, or that perfect fortune cookie message you saved once, they remind us of things that need remembering.

This was inspired by beloved friends with whom I share a profound connection at midlife. I love seeing how we've grown together over the years, holding hands along our paths of spiritual deepening, motherhood and creative expression. A friendship like this is like having a true spiritual sister - a fellow sylvan acolyte at the wild, mystic convent of our convening.

And of course it's also inspired by the wild sisters - the black beaked ones who caw in the trees overhead on my walk, now and then dropping down a feather - reminders of the wisdom of Wild.
