【SNAC田んぼ倶楽部】2023-7　コスモス、八ヶ岳山野草、ススキ、イネ刈り、はざかけ、有機栽培で米作り、SNAC富士見高原の自然と文化の愛好会、Fujimikogen, Yatsugatake

９月になるとイネが黄金色に輝き、コスモス、ススキ、ソバの花が咲きます。仁科さんの庭で山野草の撮影をしてから、富士見高原を散歩をしました。

田んぼでは、早川さんがイネ刈り機で大部分をイネ刈りしてくれ、手刈り用に少しだけ残してくれました。残りのイネを鎌で刈り、田んぼの中に単管パイプとクランプを使ってはざを組み立てました。できたところからはざかけをしていきましたが、イネが重くて途中ではざが崩れました。やり直しです！はざの底に単管パイプを入れて補強し、強度を強くしました。そしてはざかけをしました。下の田んぼは2列のはざを作りました。上の田んぼは1列のはざを作りましたが、イネが多くて長さを追加しました。

後日、早川さんから一部イネが土に着いていると連絡があり、見に行き、イネ束を移動しました。底に付ける単管タイプが1本足りなかったので、その部分のはざの強度が弱かったのです。佐野さんが短い単管パイプを付けて補強してくれました。

In September, rice plants turn golden, and cosmos, silver grass, and buckwheat bloom. After videotaping wildflowers in Mr. Nishina's garden, we took a walk around Fujimi Plateau.

In the rice field, Mr. Hayakawa mowed most of the rice with a rice mower, leaving a little for hand cutting. The remaining rice was cut with a sickle. We assembled the racks for drying rice in the rice paddies using single pipe and clamps. We started to cover the rice from the place where it was ready, but the rice was so heavy that the rack collapsed in the middle of the work. We had to start over! We reinforced the bottom of the rack with monopoly pipe to make it stronger. Then, we covered the rice on the rack. We made two rows of racks for the lower rice field. In the upper rice field, we made one row of rack, but we had to add more length because there were too many rice plants.

Later, Mr. Hayakawa informed us that some of the rice had arrived in the soil, so We went to see and moved the rice bundle. One single pipe type attached to the bottom was missing, so the strength of the rack in that area was weak. Mr. Sano reinforced it by attaching a short single pipe.
