Immerse yourself in this incredible live performance by TE KAAHU, the new reo Māori project from alt-pop artist Theia (Waikato-Tainui, Ngāti Tiipaa).
We were lucky enough to record TE KAAHU at Unitec Institute of Technology's Te Noho Kotahitanga Marae as part of our RNZ Music live sessions!
Theia is joined by the fabulous Delaney Davidson on lapsteel, Jol Mulholland on guitar, and HINA on vocals.
"Tautokongia ngaa kaitito Maaori me tooku reo rangatira!" says Theia, "Support Māori composers and my chiefly language!"
