How to Crochet Appliques

Welcome back to my YouTube channel!
Today's tutorial will be the first in a series that I am planning to release slowly on this channel. I will be sharing a bunch of applique patterns and will be creating a playlist for them.
All of these appliques are the perfect size to sew onto granny squares and other patchwork projects. (These are beginner friendly patterns)
For today's tutorial you will be needing:
4 mm crochet hook
scissors
tapestry needle
medium weight size 4 acrylic yarn in the colours listed below
For sunflower applique:
dark brown
light brown or darker yellow
yellow
For leaf applique:
just one shade of green
For popsicle applique:
light brown
purple
purple/pink
white
Of course, you can choose to substitute out any of these colours. Just keep in mind that if you change the size of yarn or crochet hook, your applique will be a different size :)
