Jai and Munish's friendship is ruined when both of them fall in love with the same girl, Meena. Things take a turn when Munish finds out Jai was involved in the case of a faulty railway bridge.

Storyline :-
A wealthy and independent industrialist, JK alias Jai Kishan befriends a young man from a middle-class background by the name of Munish Mehra, assists him financially to go abroad and get necessary qualifications as an engineer, and then hires him on one of his construction projects. Jai meets with and falls in love with Meena Khanna, who is the daughter of a government official. Shortly after this, Jai finds out that Munish is also attracted to Meena, and is enraged. He subsequently fires Munish, and ensures that he will not get hired anywhere else. After several vain attempts to obtain employment, Munish gets hired by the government, and is assigned to investigate the collapse of a railway bridge. Munish finds out that Jai was directly responsible for this mishap as he used sub-standard materials. Munish now has the tools to avenge his humiliation at the hands of Jai, and accordingly informs his employer. But when the time comes for Munish to make a full report, he declines, and the government has no alternative but to prosecute him in a court of law for taking bribes and destroying his report. And the main witness appearing against him is none other than Jai.


Music Composer Ravi:-

Ravi Shankar Sharma (3 -3-1926 --7-7 2012), often referred to mononymously as Ravi, was an Indian music director, who had composed music for several Hindi and Malayalam films. After a successful career in Hindi cinema, he took a break from 1970s to 1984, and made a successful comeback under the stage name Bombay Ravi. He He had no formal training in classical music; instead he learned music from listening to his father sing bhajans. He taught himself to play harmonium and other classical instruments and worked as an electrician to support his family. In 1950 he decided to shift to Bombay and become a professional singer. At first Ravi was homeless, living on the streets and sleeping in Malad railway station at night. In 1952, he was discovered by Hemant Kumar who hired him to sing backing vocals in Vande Mataram from the film Anand Math.

He was one of the music directors who shaped the career of Asha Bhosle with songs like Tora man darpan. He was also instrumental in making Mahendra Kapoor a popular singer in Bollywood. After a successful career in Hindi films during the 1950s and 1960s, he took a long break after 1970 till 1982. In 1982, he gave music for the Hindi film Nikaah, and one of the film's songs Dil ke armaan aansooyon main beh gaye sung by Salma Agha won her the Filmfare Best Female Playback Award. His songs "Aaj mere yar ki shadi hai (Aadmi Sadak Ka) and Babu Ki Duaen Leti Ja (Neel Kamal), both sun soulfully by great sing Mohammad Rafi sb are still played on the occasion of marriages

Ravi's wife, whom he married in 1946, died in 1986. His estranged son Ajay is married to Varsha Usgaonkar who is a Marathi and Hindi film actress.
