London Buses route 328 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Golders Green and Chelsea, it is operated by Metroline.
History
Route 328 commenced operating on 29 May 1999 between Golders Green Station and Chelsea via West Hampstead, Kilburn, Maida Hill, Notting Hill Gate, Kensington High Street and Earl's Court. It was initially operated by First London from their Westbourne Park (X) garage with Marshall Capital bodied Dennis Dart SLFs. The route was introduced to replace the northern section of Route 28 and the southern section of Route 31.

On 1 May 2004, the route was retained by First London.

On 5 June 2004, the route was converted to double deck operation using Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs.

In January 2009, Wright Gemini 2 HEV bodied VDL DB300 hybrids were introduced.

On 3 July 2010, the route was diverted via Cremorne Road, Cheyne Walk, Beaufort Street and King's Road to reach the bus stand on King's Road after 23:00 and before 06:30.

On 30 April 2011, the route was retained by First London.

On 1 October 2011, the allocation was transferred to Atlas Road (AS) garage.

In October 2012, Wright Gemini 2 bodied VDL DB300s were introduced.

On 22 June 2013, the route was included in the sale of First London's Atlas Road (AS) garage to Tower Transit and the Wright Gemini 2 HEV bodied VDL DB300 hybrids were withdrawn.

In March 2016, the Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs and the Wright Gemini 2 bodied VDL DB300s were replaced by brand new Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs.

On 30 April 2016, the route was retained by Tower Transit.

On 1 July 2017, Atlas Road (AS) garage was announced closed and the allocation was transferred back to Westbourne Park (X) garage.

On 11 January 2020, a new timetable was introduced to improve punctuality.

On 1 May 2021, the route passed to Metroline operating from their Cricklewood (W) garage using existing Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs (on loan from Tower Transit).

On 18 August 2021, the Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodied Volvo B5LHs (on loan from Tower Transit) were replaced by Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 bodies Volvo B5LHs from Metroline.
