Lessons learned:
This lesson informs us that God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom. Yet, the first step in remaining loyal to God was their food intake, which became the foundation of their calling. Why are our eating habits so vital in our spiritual growth?

My Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, direct us, O Lord, on how to fast. Help us to understand and know why we fast. Remind us that we are fasting in ways that pleasing to You and not for show. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
