Grace VanderWaal on Instagram Live - 2022.07.07 • New Apartment, No Wi-Fi

Grace had been living with her sister, but recently moved into her own apartment. She was very content with hardly any furniture and the Wi-Fi not even hooked up yet. She decided to touch base with her digital entourage while eating a salad and styling her hair. Putting on background music became problematic, because she couldn't use her music streaming subscription (having her cellular data taken up by the Instagram Live).
We got to hear about pimples, her truce with flies, music she had listened to so much that she no longer likes, her first not-angry-but-happy love song, original music she was not releasing, and a single she was about to release ("Lion's Den"). There was an ambiguous commitment to tour when things could be aligned.
After almost half an hour she said she had to go, but then picked up her guitar. She was still strumming and chatting 20 minutes later when she really had to go. There had been a knock on her door and she explained that she had forgotten that she was having a bed and couch delivered.
